CDI Serving Vermilion, Iroquois & Ford Counties, Illinois Head Start/Early Head Start is now enrolling children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. Head Start provides family-centered services for low-income families. The program promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of toddlers through safe and developmentally enriching caregiving. This prepares these children for continued growth and development and eventual success in school and life. Caleb's Prayer Foundation 11th Annual Benefit Car Show on Sunday, May 23 at 1400 Lock Drive, Bourbonnais. Registration is 9a - 11a. There are 21 classes, three placings per class plus special awards. Lunch is served. Spectators are welcome and free to attend. Proceeds go to families in Iroquois and Kankakee County that are impacted by cancer in memory of 15-year-old Caleb Hoggins of Chebanse.
May 23, from 10am until 2pm, The Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Parish in Bradley will be hosting a Pork Chop Sandwich Drive-thru. For a donation of $7, you will receive a Porkchop sandwich, chips, and applesauce. Add a dollar for soda or bottled water. Located at 260 N. Prairie Bradley IL. All proceeds go to helping make the church more handicap accessible and sidewalk repair.
