Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gilman

An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gilman on Thursday July 11th from 12-6PM. All blood types are needed.
Vacations and summer activities often result in a decline in blood donations during summer. This is a chance to give a life saving gift.
A blood donor card or driver's license are required for check-in. Eligible donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Sixteen year olds will need a signed Red Cross parental consent to donate.

Story Time at Newton Co. Fair

Story Time at the Newton County Fair - Free at the Domestic Arts Building.  "Let the Games Begin" will be the them of this year's Story Time at the Fair as everyone is preparing for the excitement of the Olympic Games.  Each child will receive a free story book.  Contact the Newton County Extension Office for more information.

29th Annual Oxford Vol. Fire Dept. Golf Outing

July 13th, 2024 12:00 pm

The 29th Annual Oxford Volunteer Fire Dept. Golf Outing will be on July 13th.  Registration does include dinner.  Registration is open by 12p & shotgun starts at 1pm.  All proceeds go for equipment, training & gear.  For questions contact the Oxford Fire Department at 765-385-2525 or Oak Grove Country Club at 765-385-2713.
