Dementia Friendly Champaign-Urbana Kickoff

Join representatives from Illinois Extension & Dementia Friendly Champaign-Urbana for the Dementia Friendly Champaign-Urbana Kickoff. This free, public event happens March 23 from 3 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. at the Urbana Free Library in the Lewis Auditorium at 210 W Green St., Urbana, IL 61801.

This event offers various resources & information about DFCU, as well as opportunities to learn about the resources already available in the community and how to get connected. There's also presentations from representatives of DFCU & East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging.  Topics will include how businesses can get involved with DFCU & how business leaders can train their employees to be a more dementia friendly business.

Those working as first responders, within financial institutions and legal services, are highly encouraged to attend.
