Free Veteran Breakfast and Open House

The Watseka Masonic Lodge will provide a FREE Veterans Appreciation Breakfast at the Watseka American Legion. Service begins at 7:00 AM and will continue through 9:00 AM. The menu will include pancakes, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, and drink. All Veterans are invited to attend.

Immediately following the free breakfast, the American Legion Post 23 will host an open house for all Veterans and the general public. The goal of the open house is to communicate the mission of Post 23, share the different types of services and support provided to the Watseka Area communities, and share extension programs that Post 23 can support a veteran through the National and State level American Legion. The open house will also seek to recruit new Veterans from the service era of the Vietnam War to present. Any active duty or reserve service member performing honorably or veteran with an Honorable Discharge is eligible to join the American Legion.
