A new executive director of the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce was announced this week. Becky Broderick of Manteno replaces Angela Morrey, who accepted the director of marketing and business attraction position with the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County.

Broderick is small business owner herself, who understands what the chamber can do to help. She calls the chamber post “ a dream job. I’m excited to get to know and bring members together so everyone can thrive.”

The 44-year-old Broderick is the owner/operator of a Manteno-based photography studio. Broderick Photography is a 17-year-old business. Broderick has been an active member in the Manteno Chamber of Commerce. She’s also served the chamber’s board of directors the past four years.
