The Illinois Department of Transportation reports some lanes in Illinois closed for construction proejcts will reopen for the holiay to minimize travel disruption.  Non-emergency closures will be suspended beginning at 3 pm today (Friday) thru Monday at midnight.  Drivers still need to use caution and pay attention in work zones.
