An arrest was made (Thursday 6/5) in Macon, Georgia. Former Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley employee Robert Dinkins arrested in Georgia on six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Dinkins will be returned to Ford County to face charges.
A former GCMS 8th grade teacher and coach, Dinkins had been placed on administrative leave for allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a student. Weeks later, Dinkins was terminated from his positions with the district after a unanimous vote from the school board.

Several interviews were conducted and a forensic analysis of his phone was completed. Police said in a release that during the investigation, they seized his phone and other electronics, and found information that supports he engaged in sexual activities with a high school student.
