It's feeling more like summer -- Central Illinois today  (Tuesday) is expecting afternoon highs near 90.  Humidity and gusty winds are expected to increase.  Gusts could reach 40 mph this afternoon with a few showers and isolated storms possible. 

Shower and storm activity chances increase tonight and Wednesday. Some of the storms to the northwest tonight could be strong to severe. That threat shifts to the southeast Wednesday afternoon and evening.  Additional shower and thunderstorm chances are in the forecast Thursday and Friday.
