The NCAA Tournament will officially expand to 76 teams starting in 2027. The 8 additional teams are at-large selections.

Blackhawks expected to sign KHL leading goal scorer Roman Kantserov and play him in NHL next season according to ESPN. A second-round pick in 2023 by the Blackhawks, Kantserov led the KHL with 36 goals. He's the first 21-year-old to lead the league in goals since Kirill Kaprizov in 2018-19. It’s a big boost after the Blackhawks had the second-best odds in the 2026 Draft Lottery to get the first pick but Toronto won the first pick and Chicago fell to fourth.

The NCAA's football oversight committee voted Thursday to adopt a proposal that allows conferences the flexibility to choose a 5-7 team that has met certain academic standards to fill bowl game opportunities if there aren't enough other deserving teams. Currently, if a 5-7 team needs to be selected to participate, those teams become available as alternates in descending order of their multiyear Academic Progress Rate.

The Chicago Bulls hired Atlanta Hawks senior vice president Bryson Graham as the franchise's new Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, sources tell ESPN. Graham spent 15 years in New Orleans before joining Atlanta last offseason, rising from an intern.

Push to Pass will be expanded to full-time use on all INDYCAR road and street courses, beginning this weekend at the IMS road course. The driver-controlled system will now be available at all times once the car crosses the alternate start-finish line after the green flag. This stems from the incident at the Long Beach race on April 19 when an error on INDYCAR’s end allowed push to pass to be enable upon a restart when it shouldn’t have been available until after a lap was completed.
