Roger Koerner Jr. (Kern-er) and Kenneth Lewellen are two new members of the Kankakee County Board. Koerner represents District 10 while Lewellen will be a voice for District 14.  Both were sworn-in Tuesday, filling recent vacancies.

Koerner is a commercial airline pilot. He’s a welding professor at KCC and local business owner.

Lewellen is considered a dedicated community leader, retired, and active in local organizations serving on several boards.
