The Kankakee County Coroner’s Office has identified two people killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday in Momence. 22-year-old Lewis Barrera of Momence and 21-year-old Alani Camarga of St. Anne are the victims.
Momence Police investigated the crash about 2 am at Maple and Washington streets. The Daily-Journal reported the vehicle struck a tree. Barrera and Camargo were pronounced dead at the scene.
Barrera was the driver and Camargo was a backseat passenger, according to authorities.
Two additional occupants were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
