Taiwan government commits to $2.6 billion in Illinois Corn & Beans

Ag leaders gathered in Illinois (Friday) to announce a commitment of $2.6 billion in soybean and corn purchases by Taiwanese government.  Dignatiries for the state discussed the sale of $2 billion in Illinois soybeans and 600 million of Illinois corn over the next two years.  The agreement follows a 2019 2-year agreement for over $2.2 billion in crop sales.

Governor Pritzker calls this "a win for our agricultural community." The governor said he has no doubt Illinois and Taiwan will continue to enjoy a mutually prosperous friendship for many years to come.
