In response to the signing of House Bill 4982, State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) said she appreciates the support. House Bill 4982 is now law. This bipartisan measure will help those most in need by requiring pharmacies to display signs with information about the statewide 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, as well as other awareness and assistance information. This will ensure more Illinoisans are aware of the important, life-saving resources our state offers.
