Remote learning only is the process in the Hoopeston school district. Several students have tested positive for COVID-19. Others are in quarantine since they had contact with those people who have tested positive for the virus. The district switched to remote-only Tuesday. It continues for at least the next two weeks, through Friday, October 23.
The Hoopeston Area school district is the third Vermilion County district to go all-remote for at least two weeks. Hoopeston joins Bismarck-Henning and Westville among the school districts making the move.
