It’s a summer tradition – and a fun one at that ! Kankakee’s Merchant Street Music Fest, this weekend, Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26th.

And 94.1 WGFA helps kick it off. A ‘live’ broadcast (Herb Glasgow) Friday 5 – 7 pm.

The MusicFest is centered in the Harold & Jean Miner Square, in and around the historic Kankakee Railroad Depot.

Thirty-plus bands on 3 stages provide musical entertainment, art vendors, food vendors… all provide an entertaining venue.

Allison Beasley is one of many organizers of this fun event. "Come on out and enjoy the music, the Arts, food vendors.. and 34 bands on three stages," Beasley says.

Tickets are just $10 for Friday. Saturday tix are $15 or a Weekend Pass for $20, if your purchase by Thursday.
