Milford man indicted for murder of Martinton woman

An Iroquois County grand jury has indicted a Milford man for the December 2019 death of a Martinton woman. 47-year-old Jason P. Fancher faces 2-counts of murder in the death of 54-year-old Pam Williams. An arraignment hearing is on today’s court schedule. Fancher’s jailed on a million-dollar bond.

Williams’ body was discovered outside of Sheldon by a passerby. The following morning, 50-year-old Brian Musk of Milford was found murdered in his apartment at Milford Auto and Truck Parts. The police investigation found both homicides were related. Matthew W. Borden of Melvin was identified as a suspect in both murders. Borden was then involved in a police pursuit with the Colorado State Police. He took his own life at a location just outside Greeley, CO.

Fancher was taken into custody by Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police, assisted by Milford Police, without incident. He was taken to the Iroquois County Jail, where he is being held on $1 million bond.

The charge of first degree murder against Fancher is connected only to the death of Pam Williams. Prosecutors are not charging Fancher in the death of Brian Musk.
