The Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office filed charges against a 42-year-old Kankakee man for Solicitation of a Child and Traveling to Meet a Minor.  42-year-old Jacob McCorkle is accused of chatting with an underage female for sex purposes on a social media app and for planning to meet her.

Fairbury Police report McCorkle drove from Kankakee to Forrest to meet the minor, who was actually being portrayed by law enforcement.  Police said McCorkle was arrested for Aggravated DUI and driving while license suspended. McCorkle was transported to the Livingston County Jail.
