Iroquois County State's Attorney race goes to Quinlan

Assistant State's Attorney Michael Quinlan will be the chief prosecutor in Iroquois County.  The veteran prosecutor grabbed 80 % of Tuesday's Primary vote to succeed James Devine, who did not seek another term.  Quinlan defeated Rebecca Souligne.  Totals show Quinlan with 3,030 votes to Souligne with 710.

"It's been a long campaign," Quinlan said.  "I spent a lot of time going door-to-door.  It's really paid off. "  Quinlan  joined the State's Attorney's office in March 2022.   He said meeting many of the people here was beneficial to me.
