A weekend incident in Hoopeston led to the arrest of a juvenile for attempted murder.  The 15-year-old male juvenile is also facing charges of aggravated battery, armed violence, and aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.  Officers were called to Parkview Court for a report of an injury due to an altercation.  The juvenile suspect was no longer at the scene when police arrived.  After getting a tip on the youth's location, the arrest was made.  Other details about the altercation were not provided.  The juvenile faces arraignment in Danville.
