Homicide investigation leads to arrest in Beaverville

A Beaverville man was jailed in Iroquois County Sunday following his arrest at a Beaverville home.  54-year-old Anthony Esposito is charged with first-degree murder for the death of a family member.  

The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at 129 S. Bower Road in Beaverville (Sunday).  A sheriff deputy arrived on scene and was met by Anthony
Esposito.  After a short conversation it was learned that a family member of Esposito’s was deceased inside the residence. An investigation led to the arrest of Esposito. He was taken to the Iroquois County Jail and charged with First-Degree Murder.
