A crowd gathered at Legion Park in Watseka Saturday for the unveiling and dedication of the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument.  Over 100 onlookers joined the Gold Star families and  friends for the unveiling of the granite monument. It now stands at the entrance to Legion Park, on S. 4th Street.  

The monument project is supported by American Legion Post 23 and the Woody Williams Foundation.
