In Ford County Circuit Court -- A former GCMS school district teacher and coach was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
39-year-old Robert Dinkins entered a negotiated plea.  Court records show he reached a “fully negotiated” plea deal with prosecutors.  Facing six counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, Dinkins pleaded guilty to one Class 2 felony count. Five other counts against him were dismissed.

The counts against Dinkins, formerly an 8th grade teacher and soccer coach at GCMS Middle School, stemmed from inappropriate behavior he had with students.
