Officials at the Ford County Fair are closing the Melvin fairgrounds at 2 pm today (Wednesday 6/17) -- due to the weather. Plans are to reopen Thursday depending on the ability to have the grounds ready for activities. This evening's Tractor Pull is canceled.  A decision on the Thursday Tractor Pull will be made tomorrow morning.
