Today (Tuesday) is a Day of Action as Earth Day events are planned in several communities. Myunitedway.org of Iroquois and Kankakee Counties has activities lined up for people to volunteer their efforts.  Mariah Vail of the United Way invites volunteers to help clear tree limbs and other debris from Legion Park in Watseka.  The scheduled clean-up is from 9 - 10:30 am.  Other events are planned at parks in Kankakee.
