Illinois State Police reported the closure of NB I-57 at Paxton early today (Wednesday) after a three-vehicle crash. Officials said it started when a semi-truck ran off the highway and rolled after hitting the guardrail. Guardrail material was scattered, obstructing the highway. Reports indicated two other vehicles — another semi-truck and an SUV — struck the guardrail. The driver of the SUV was transported to an area hospital with injuries.
