Stojakovic Withdraws From NBA Draft, Returns to Illinois

After going through the NBA Draft Combine, Andrej Stojakovic decided tonight to withdraw his name and return to Illinois for his senior season. Stojakovic's draft stock did not rise much and he was still projected to go in the late second round or undrafted despite an impressive showing in the combine which included leading all prospects in the max vertical test at 41.5 inches.

Stojakovic averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Illini this past season and was an All-Region selection during the run to the Final Four. He rejoins David Mirkovic, Tomislav Ivisic, Zvonimir Ivisic and Jake Davis as key returners for the Illini in a push for a National Championship. Providence transfer guard Stefan Vaaks along with top-50 freshmen Quentin Coleman and Lucas Morillo are amongst the newcomers that could boost Illinois to being a preseason Top 5 ranked team with Stojakovic back in the fold.
