Livingston County State’s Attorney Mike Regnier  appointed to Associate Judge Position

Livingston County State’s Attorney Mike Regnier announced his resignation from the prosecutor's office. Regnier was appointed by the 11th Judicial Circuit to serve the bench as associate judge.  His primary duty will be in Livingston County.  In March of 2023, the Livingston County Board approved the appointment of Mike Regnier to the Livingston County State’s Attorney position, replacing then-Livingston County State’s Attorney Randy Yedinak, who is now a Circuit Judge in Livingston County.

The 11th circuit includes Ford, Livingston, Logan, McLean, and Woodford counties. Regnier joined the Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office in 2013. 

Meanwhile, the Livingston County Board  (Monday)  approved the appointment of Will County attorney Anthony Tomkiewicz to serve as the next Livingston County State’s Attorney.
