Girls Track and Field
Class 1A Salt Fork Sectional
Milford/Cissna Park’s Addison Lucht won the long jump, triple jump, and shot put while taking second in the 100 meters to qualify for the State Finals next week in all four events.

Central had several state qualifiers with Chloe Cotter winning the 400 meters and Lia Prairie winning the discus. Kylie Mordmyer in the 100 hurdles and Eriannah Martinez in the 300 hurdles each qualified on time while the 4x400 relay of Cotter, Martinez, Alexis Schultz and Savannah Reed took second.

Iroquois West’s Phylicity Leonard and Peyton Howe each qualified in the shot put and Audrey Griffin was runner-up in the high jump to advance to state.

Bishop McNamara’s qualifiers include Jaide Burse, Jersey Slone, Trinitee Thompson and Dylan Pallisard who won both the 4x100 and 4x200. the 4x800 relay of Elly Langelett, Anna Dunn, Chloe Molthan and Ana Franceschini who took second, and Pallisard who finished fourth in the high jump but qualified on distance.

Class 3A Bloom Sectional:
Kankakee's 4x100 of DaMariana Tooles, Essence Bell, Jemya Williams and Jasiah Hawkins and the 4x200 team of Tooles, Williams, Amiyah Anderson and Bell advanced to the State Finals. Individually state qualifiers for the Kays are Bell in the 200 meters, Trinity Noble in the 100 meters, and Pyper Krieger in discus.
