After Meyer Shank Racing confirmed 2026 INDY 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist will depart the team at the end of this season and then 6-time champion Scott Dixon announced he would be leaving Chip Ganassi Racing after 24 full-time seasons, Arrow McLaren announced the signing of Dixon and Rosenqvist on multiyear contracts to drive full-time alongside Pato O’Ward next season. Dixon has driven with Chip Ganassi Racing since 2002 and ranks second in INDYCAR SERIES career wins with 59. Rosenqvist drove with Arrow McLaren for three seasons (2021 through 2023).
Additionally, 2014 “500” winner Ryan Hunter-Reay, who last month was named Arrow McLaren’s sporting director, will again drive a team car in “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” in May
Arrow McLaren will part ways with Christian Lundgaard, who has won two races for the team this season, and Nolan Siegel to make room for Dixon and Rosenqvist.
Marcus Armstrong has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain at Meyer Shank Racing. Armstrong will transition to the team's No. 60 MSR Honda (driven by Rosenqvist) for the start of the 2027 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
