Kentland’s Good Table Family Restaurant gutted by fire

A weekend fire in Kentland gutted the GOOD TABLE FAMILY RESTAURANT. The popular eatery on Route 24 sustained major damage. But the owners say ‘be patient.’ Plans are to rebuild and owner Flamur Fejza said a rebuild will be ‘bigger and better.’

Saturday evening’s fire broke out in the restaurant kitchen, while patrons were eating. Everyone, employees and customers, made it out safe.

The Kentland-Jefferson Township Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1- alert, quickly on the scene with help from several neighboring fire departments from both Illinois and Indiana. Kentland Fire reported flames were thru the roof quickly.  Fire officials reported 50% of the structure was destroyed.
