Fans are invited to Danville Area Community College next week (December 2nd) for a 'Pack the Place' event. Athletic Director Tim Bunton is hoping for a packed house Women's and Men's basketball teams hold their first home double header.

Bunton announced that all proceeds from gate admissions and concessions for the December 2nd games will be donated to help Gifford rebuild from a devastating tornado last Sunday.

DACC's opponent Monday night, Lincoln Land Community College, also plans to add to the proceeds with a donation of its own.

The DACC Lady Jaguars play the Statesmen beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students (other than DACC), and free for DACC students.

A table will also be set up during the games to accept additional monetary donations for the Gifford disaster relief efforts.
