Denny's Sporting Goods in Onarga will be under new ownership when 2014 gets underway.

Trent and Amy Eshleman assume ownership January 4, 2014. Trent recently resigned his position at principal at PBL High School, effective at the end of December.

A contract for the purchase of the sporting goods business and retail store was arranged with current owner owner Terry Eshleman, who will remain employed at Denny's Sporting Goods.

For 2014, the store and team dealership operation will remain in downtown Onarga, will remain Denny's Sporting Goods, and will maintain its current retail hours.

Denny's Sporting Goods has been in business for 32 years. The business was started in 1982 by the late Denny Eshleman.
