KANKAKEE, Ill. – As a part of her continuing efforts to ensure that area children in need have a present to open this holiday season, state Representative Kate Cloonen teamed up with several area businesses, including the Kankakee County Soldiers basketball team, and River Valley Metro for a successful "Fill the Bus" toy drive event last Saturday. Local families donated over 300 toys to "Fill the Bus" and all the donations from the event will go toward the 24th Annual Toy Drive.
