(Westville, IL) -- The president of an East-Central Illinois chemical company is recovering after being shot by an employee during a performance review.

Vermillion County officials say around 2:30 yesterday afternoon an employee of DynaChem shot his boss and then turned the gun on himself. The boss was taken to an Urbana hospital where officials say his injuries are not life-threatening. The shooter was pronounced dead at the scene and no one else was hurt. {Metro News}
