Veterans Day Programs

The Watseka American Legion - Post 23 will support and/or present the following programs during Veterans Day week:

*Watseka Area High School - Students will serve all area Veterans a free breakfast from 7:30 - 8:45 am. A Veterans Day program will be hosted by the high school from 9 - 10:00 am in the gymnasium. All Veterans and families/friends are invited.

*Watseka American Legion Hall - a free breakfast will be served by the Iroquois County Masons from 7:00-9:00 am. Immediately after the breakfast, the Post 23 members and officers will host a Recruitment-Revitalization Open House from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. The purpose of the open house is to highlight the activities and programs the post supports for community enrichment and outreach for potential new members and low participation members. The target new membership being sought are those that have served one of our 6 military branches since early 1980's to present.
