It is the mission of the Watseka American Legion to reach as many veterans as possible to support their needs in post-service life. To reach as many veterans as possible, Post 23 will be moving its monthly Veterans Breakfast from the first Wednesday to the first Saturday of the month.
August 1st will be the first Saturday of the month and Post 23 will be serving breakfast from 0700-0900 hours. The menu will be scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, and sweet rolls. All veterans and active-duty military are invited to attend this free breakfast at Legion Hall in Watseka Legion Park.
The Veterans Breakfast will be served every first Saturday of each month going forward. This is a time for Veterans to network with each other and provide support to each other as we serve the community.
