A 16-year-old Central High School student was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in Iroquois County.
The un-identified teen was westbound when the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway, hit a culvert and rolled several times. The vehicle then hit several trees, according to Illinois State Police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Bill Cheatum.
The Vermilion River Fall Festival and Farmers Market is likely to attract thousands of people to Danville’s Ellsworth Park. The Festival started Friday and continues today (Saturday)...and from 11 am until 5 pm Sunday.
