Today is Senior Day at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield. Those visiting the fair that are 60-year-old or older get in for free. Special events include the Illinois Senior Hall of Fame. The musical act on the grandstand stage is The Traveling Salvation Show, which is free.
Veterans and their families were recognized with special tributes Sunday at the fair. And several local 4-Hers made their marks in 4-H competition. Blake Dixon of the Watseka Wild Clovers, Payton Sheridan of the Milford Sugar Creek Club visited on-air with Nita Dubble at the Swine Barn at the State fairgrounds.
