Watseka woman arrested after police pursuit

A 21-year-old Watseka woman faces charges after leading local police on a brief chase Monday.  Ashley Collins fled from her vehicle after crashing in a residental backyard. She was arrested for reckless driving, driving while license revoked and no valid registration.  She was also found to be wanted in Kankakee County for driving while suspended.

KAMEG Arrests ---

A 21-year-old Bourbonnais man was arrested after KAMEG agents executed a search warrant at a location on South Stadium Drive in Bourbonnais Monday. Ednin Sosa-Quijada is charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intne tto deliver.  Agents seized about 6.6 pounds of suspected cannabis.

KAMEG also arrested 35-year-old Tremaine Moore of Kankakee last Friday. A traffic stop on S. Poplar Avenue in Kankakee aled to a brief foot pursuit.  Moore is now facing charges for possession of a cannabis and resisting an officer.  he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

RANTOUL POLICE alert for suspicious man ---

A suspicious man alarmed some elememntary school students in Rantoul last week.  Now, Police in the community are keeping a close eye on things at Pleasant Acres Elementary School.  The person described is a white male, bearded, wearing a camaouflage coat and military boots.  The man was running toward the studetns but then verred into a farm field.  Anyone with inf should contact police.
