Motorcyclist charged with DUI, no license in Momence bike crash

A group of motorcyclists riding near Momence Saturday resulted in a collision, sending three people to the hospital. One driver was arrested for DUI and for not having a proper operator's license.

State police investigated north of Momence on Route 1/17.

45-year-old Francine Gajewski of Glenwood hit the back of another bike. That driver of the second cycle was treated and released. A passenger was also injured.

Gajewski is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and for not having motorcycle license, according to the police report.
