Wolcott receives $4.5 million grant for wastewater infrastructure

The Town of Wolcott, IN is preparing to construct a new wastewater treatment facility.  It's happening thanks to a 4 million dollar grant. Town leaders say they hope improving wastewater treatment infrastructure will grow and diversify the local economy. The U.S. Department of Commerce awarded a $4.5 million grant to White County to construct a new wastewater treatment facility in Local officials say Wolcott's wastewater system is about 50 years old and needs to be revamped.
