The USDA is projecting record corn and soybeans yields this year.  Numbers are definitely up in Illinois.  The corn yield is expected at 207 bushels per acre, up 26 bushels from last year.  Illinois' soybean yield is expected to hit 64 bushels per acre, a new record high.  The forecast for total soybean production is 662 million bushels, an increase of 24 percent over the 2019 yield.
