Little or no damage has been reported from a reported tornado touchdown west of Gilman Tuesday evening.  Iroquois County citizens submitted video showing a funnel aloft near Gilman and Onarga about 6:20 pm.  A tornado TD was captured, west of Gilman near Ashkum, and lasted about 2 - 5 minutes.  No injury was reported.  There was no report from emergency responders.  The National Weather Service is yet to confirm a touchdown. 

Funnel clouds and threatening weather was reported along I-57 from Kankakee County to Beecher in eastern Will County and also near Wilmington.  Several other Chicago area suburbs were also under tornado warnings last evening.

Severe weather alerts have been issued again this (Wednesday) morning.
