Today (Wednesday) is the deadline for 2019 taxes to be filed.  The April 15th deadline was extended by the government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.That two-month extension expires today.  Both your Illinois and federal tax forms must be in the mail by midnight or you need to request an extension.  Filing electronically is the suggestion, to get that refund quicker.
