Damage was estimated at $20,000 after a residential fire in Kankakee Sunday afternoon.  Firefighters were called to the 300-bock of N. Harrsison Avenue about 1:30.  Fire Chief Damon Schuldt reported damage to a second-floor bedroom and heavy smoke damage to the second floor. The fire appeared to be accidental and electrical in nature.  No injuries were reported.  Two occupants received care from the Red Cross.
