Satia Thomas of St. Anne is the best !  Maybe the best ever, when it comes to the Accuplacer Test administered by Kankakee Community College.  Satia is a junior student in the Medical Terminology Course at the Kankakee Area Career Center.  She recently scored 297 out of 300 on her Accuplacer Test.  The KCC Proctor said she's never seen such a score this high for the test. The test allows Career Center students to earn Dual Credit at KCC when they successfully complete their Medical Terminology or Certified Nurse Assistant Programs.  Satis will be among those students who graduate high school with college credits.
