Spike in COVID-19 numbers

Iroquois, Livingston, Kankakee, Vermilion County health officials all reporting increases in their coronavirus cases in the last day. The state of Illinois also had 1231 new cases on Monday.Governor JB Pritzker says the numbers are not going in a positive direction.  He again, insists all people wear a mask.

Iroquois County Public Health reported 10 new postive cases Monday, the total now at 220.  Four more residents in Livingston County have tested positive.  There's now 73 confirmed cases.  Kankakee County added two deaths, 65 have died of symptoms throughout Kankakee County.  Health officials report 27 new cases, the county toals now at 1,681.  Five new cases were reported Monday in Vermilion County, the totals now at 27 confirmed. 

Visiting Quincy in Adams County Monday, Governor Pritzker said the state will not be back to normal until next year.
