Alert neighbors kicked in a door rescuing two children from a house fire in Rossville (Saturday). Neighboring fire departments assisted Rossville Fire in answering the call to the 200-block of Park Place about 2 pm.
The two children were trapped inside the burning home. They were rescued along with two pets. The fire’s cause is under investigation, but local officials say it started in the garage.
