Protest March in Watseka, Milford

A peaceful march in Watseka Thursday afternoon showed support for the cause of police brutality in the recent death of George Floyd.  The Minneapolis man died at the hands of police, triggering angry response from people across the country. Watseka's march included people from several communities.  Organizers were greeted with support from passerbys. The effort was to bring awareness across Iroquois County.  Watseka Police and other law enforcement officers were on hand to show support and provide security.
