Paxton man sentenced to 14 years in prison

The brutal beating inflicted on another man has landed a Paxton man in state prison.  35-year-old Clayton Marcum was sentenced to 14-years for the beating of 54-year-old Greg Rudin.  Rudin suffered extenive injuris and now must live in a nursing home, unable to care for himself.  The Ford County Chronicle reports Rudin can't care for himself after spending months in a hospital.  A jury convicted Marcum for 2-felony counts of aggravated domestic battery - causing great bodily harm.  Judhe Matt Fitton imposed the sentence.
